Friends. Music. Fashion. Heartbreak. Love. Boys. Hollyhock Jr. High. It's a grrrl's world out there and BFFs (uhm...Best Friends Forever) Tutti, Roxy, Rella, and Looie know what it takes to live their lives to the fullest and with plenty of vim, vigor, and grrr - Grrrl Power! Looie, an ambitious, self-motivated, sporty, introvert sometimes has to act as the voice of reason to Rella's "Princess Charming" dreams and cheerleading personality. Roxy's quest to become a Photographer/Videographer often rides the emotional roller coaster with "Drama Queen" Tutti's pursuits of becoming a High-Fashion Designer or Hollywood Actress (which ever comes first). Through it all the grrrls have each other and nothing can get in their way. Not even the "other ones" ...boys. (Although they wouldn't really mind and would "absolutely love" if one of them did). The grrrls find it essential to go over everything at their at-least-once-a-week slumber party at Tutti's house. Tutti's single father, Carlo DeViti, is a Celebrity Chef and world-famous Piccolo Player. He is most often not at home. Their maid, Mrs. Larson, has caught a chronic case of "laissez-faire attitude". She hasn't vacuumed the third floor in weeks, let alone checked on the "going's on" in Tutti's attic bedroom that spans the entire house. Complete with a bathroom, walk-in closet, fridge, and balcony, Tutti's bedroom is truly a place of their own. The perfect place for intimate, crucial and undisturbed "pillow talk". The GRRRLS! television show is a blend of live-action and animation. Tutti, Roxy, Rella, and Looie are (live-action) best friends that hangout at least once a week for their slumber party at Tutti's. It is their "pillow talk" which serves as the vehicle to drive the viewers into the animated world where their stories and lives, journeys and dreams, take place. Stories that make the grrrls laugh, or make them cry. Stories that inspire each other or make them sometimes just plain confused. Nonetheless, the stories always remind the grrrls of their sacred friendship vows to always - and particularly - "Be the girl you wanna be ".
